    Ongoing Customer Assistance During COVID-19

    Recently, Duke Energy announced they were to resume their standard billing and payment practices. They continued their commitment to helping customers experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

    This week, Duke Energy announced they were taking a gradual approach to allow those customers still in need of extra time, the opportunity to reach out for assistance. The resumption of standard billing and credit practices will occur in mid-August. Disconnections for non-payment and late payments fees will remain suspended until Sept. 1. Credit and debit card fees and walk-in payment fees will be waived through the end of October.
