Learning about the many aspects and behind the scenes work that contribute to making a community and region environmentally and economically sustainable was amazing. Being a resident of Central Florida for many years\, I learned about many resources in the region that I did not previously know existed and was available to us. One of the best benefits of the Leadership Maitland program was the networking opportunities and friendships made during the course of the program. Thank you Leadership Maitland for allowing me to be a participant and graduate of the program. I highly recommend the program."\n\nDan Matthys\, AICP\, CPM\, Director\, City of Maitland\n \n\n"As a member of the Maitland Rotary Club over the past few years\, we struggled with ways to better connect with our local community and promote our annual November fundraiser\, the Maitland Rotary Art Festival. Last year our club finally joined the Maitland Chamber. This provided me with the opportunity to enroll in Leadership Maitland\, a true gateway to learning more about the resources available to us right here in our local community. Each month over the course of the program our group of local participants gathered to learn from our scheduled speaker(s) as well as from one another. I got to know City of Maitland associates and local business owners and associates on a personal basis. I truly believe that the Leadership Maitland program has provided attendees with a greatly enhanced understanding of who's who in our local Maitland community\, which in turn enables us all to move forward and accomplish our respective goals in a more unified way." \n\n \n\nBeth Landa\, Treasurer\, Maitland Rotary
