Guest Speaker: Aleesa Ponce, MS, CNM
Bio:
Aleesa Ponce, MS, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife with nearly 20 years of experience in the medical field, including five years in a neonatal intensive care unit and many more in various women’s health specialties. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with highest honors and earned her associate degree in nursing at Valencia College. More recently, she earned her master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University with specialization in nurse midwifery. While completing her advanced degree, she undertook almost 700 hours of precepted clinical training with AdventHealth, which included attending or assisting with the births of nearly 80 babies.
